⚖️ Portfolio Rebalancing Calculator

Enter your current holdings and target allocation. The calculator tells you exactly how much to buy or sell of each asset to reach your target — without needing to sell everything and start over.

💡 Rebalancing Best Practices

  • Rebalance 1–2× per year — More often increases transaction costs without improving returns. Set a calendar reminder for January and July.
  • Use new contributions — Instead of selling overweight positions (which triggers TOB), direct new investments to underweight assets. This is the slider above.
  • 5% threshold rule — Only rebalance when an asset drifts more than 5% from its target. Small deviations aren't worth the fees.
  • Fewer assets = easier — A 2-ETF portfolio (IWDA 88% + EMIM 12%) is much easier to rebalance than 10 individual positions.
